We are on Native homelands
We gratefully share the traditional homelands of at least 50 Native American Indian nations who have connections to the land Yellowstone Park sits on. By including their history and presence in our interpretation, we hope to create and amplify relationships and a deeper understanding of this land. We share whose homelands we are on to remind us of our 11,000 year human history, taking part in restoring the presence of the diverse voices who have enduring connections with Yellowstone.
